Following Clemson's loss to Syracuse, the Tigers stayed near the top of the teams most likely to win the National Championship. Clemson is currently third with 9/1 odds of winning the championship according to Bovada. Clemson previously had 15/4 odds of winning the title, just ahead of Ohio State.

Last weekend saw a series of shake-ups in the top 10, as #2 Clemson, #5 Washington, #8 Washington State and #10 Auburn all lost.

With Clemson's loss, Ohio State secured the second spot behind Alabama who currently sits at 10/11 favorites. Ohio State is now at 5/1 up from 15/2 last week.

Just behind Clemson sit Penn State and Georgia, each with 10/1 odds to win the national title. Wisconsin (20/1), Oklahoma (25/1), and Oklahoma State (25/1) round out the top 8 teams.

Regarding the Heisman Trophy, Saquon Barkley of Penn State and Bryce Love from Stanford are tied with 4-to-1 odds. Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield and J.T. Barrett from Ohio State are behind the two running backs.
