Former Clemson stars Deshaun Watson and Nuk Hopkins helped the Houston Texans to a 19-16 overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys on NBC's Sunday Night Football. It was the first time the Texans have won consecutive games since the 2016 season.

The former Tigers hooked up throughout the contest, but it was a pass to Hopkins in overtime that sparked the game-winning drive. Watson dropped back and found Hopkins who then utilized multiple spin moves to get inside field goal range on a 49-yard catch and run reception.

Watson finished the game 33-44 for 375 yards with 1 touchdown and an interception. Hopkins had 9 receptions for 151 yards.

After the physical game, Michele Tafoya asked Watson how he felt.

"I'm good. I'm a little hurt, but I'm all good. That's the point of football. Whatever it takes to win. I'm going to be a warrior out there for my boys, my teammates, put it all on the line. That's what I do."

Watson and his wideouts haven't been able to practice together as much as they might like, but he and Hopkins were still able to be very successful against the Cowboys.

"I just go with the flow. I just try to talk to him and use my instincts to predict where they are going to be at. We watch a lot of film together and we try to use the mental game and bring it to the field full speed. We are kind of behind the 8-ball, but hey, we get it through."

As for the big play in overtime, Hopkins said that he knew Watson was coming to him.

"They went 'one high' on me so I knew I had to get open. Deshaun put the ball perfect, where only I could catch it, and I knew I had to get yards after the catch."

After the game, both Watson and Hopkins were given game balls for their performances.
