Deshaun Watson may be out for the year, but that didn't stop a pair of former Tigers from having good days on Sunday.

Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins (10) celebrates a touchdown with wide receiver
Will Fuller (15) during the fourth quarter against the Indianapolis Colts at NRG Stadium.

DeAndre Hopkins and the Houston Texans clearly missed Watson as they lost to the Indianapolis Colts 20-14, but the Tom Savage to Hopkins connection wasn't bad by any means. The two hooked up six times for 86 yards and this spectacular, over-the-shoulder grab.

Meanwhile, The Los Angeles Rams dominated the New York Giants 51-17. Sammy Watkins only had one catch, but it was a big one.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Sammy Watkins (12) just hangs on to a touchdown reception in the 1st half
against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.

That 67-yard catch and run pushed the Rams' lead to 24-7, and it was an important moment for both Watkins and Jared Goff who have been trying to connect on big plays all year, but just haven't been on the same page. Moving forward, don't be surprised if you start seeing this more often.

Other Players Of Note:

  • Atlanta Linebacker Vic Beasley tallied 4 tackles and a sack against Carolina
  • Arizona Wide Receiver Jaron Brown pulled in a three-yard touchdown against San Francisco
  • Jets Kicker Chandler Catanzaro was a perfect 2-2 kicking with a long of 45 yards against Buffalo
