According to WBTV in Charlotte, former Clemson Tiger, and current Kansas City Chiefs cornerback, Bashaud Breeland was arrested in York County earlier today.

Breeland, won a Super Bowl this past season with the Chiefs, recently signed a $4.5 million contract with Kansas City. During the Super Bowl this past season, Breeland had an interception early in the second quarter, forcing the first turnover of the game.

Breeland played high school football in the Lowcountry at Allendale-Fairfax High School.

According to the report, Breeland was booked on charges that include driving without a license, driving with an open container of alcohol, possession of marijuana, and resisting arrest.

Breeland became the second former Clemson player arrested recently as former Tiger Ben Boulware was taken into custody for DUI over the weekend.

The Kansas City Star reports that the Chiefs are aware of the situation.
