Recruiting Board Targets Update
You might recall that a few days ago we gave you an update on our recruiting board. This is a big weekend for Clemson in terms of the last minute run up to National Signing Day.Two of the players that we have tabbed as "high priority" targets for Clemson will be in Tiger town this weekend. Both Leon O'Neal and Matthew Hill are expected to both take official visits to Clemson this weekend. Both of these players are being recruited as defensive players for Clemson while Auburn sees Hill as a wideout. Coming into this weekend, I tend to think Hill prefers that role. Can Swinney and the staff work their magic on two players who have been fairly settled on where they want to play college football? There are also a number of top 2019 players we expect on campus for Clemson's junior day. Here are a few of our favorites that are expected to be there.Owen Pappoe - Linebacker Joseph Charleston - Safety (Committed to Clemson)Quavaris Crouch - Running Back Sam Howell - QuarterbackFrank Ladson - WideoutAndrew Booth Jr. - CornerbackTo say this 2019 group has a chance to be a great class is an understatement. As Clemson brand has now been at the top of the mountain for so long it's no longer a "stretch" to get who you want on campus. It's becoming the norm.We will try to put a full list together as we confirm who made the trip. It should be great weather in Clemson and a really good environment for the Notre Dame game.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a Clemson Sports Talk rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the Clemson Sports Talk Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide Clemson Sports Talk readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Clemson and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Clemson and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
