Clemson lands the Commitment of 2025 DE Ari Watford

We aren’t even through Hump Day, and the Tigers have made a splash landing four-star defensive end Ari Watford‍ this afternoon. Watford, the Maury High School product out of Norfolk, VA, is the fourth Clemson commit from the Commonwealth in the 2025 class.

Watford is considered the No. 1 edge rusher in the class, according to On3.com.

The Tigers already landed four-star RB Gideon Davidson‍ and his teammate, three-star OL Easton Ware‍ from Liberty Christian Academy. The Tigers also have three-star WR JuJu Preston‍ committed from Freedom High in Woodbridge, VA.
