No. 21 Clemson Returns Home to Face Coastal Carolina

Clemson, S.C. – Following a midweek 11-5 win on the road against Furman, Clemson (2-0) will play Coastal Carolina (1-1) for the first time in program history on Saturday, February 17 at Clemson’s Lacrosse Complex at 12 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ACCNX and live stats will be available here.

In Wednesday’s game against Furman, Kayla Macleod, Blair Byrne and Emma Tilson all registered their first goals of the 2024 season. Meanwhile Claire Bocksite, Regan Byrne, Hanna Hilcoff continued to show their impact as they each scored in their second straight game. Emily Lamparter played all 60 minutes, faced 13 shots on cage, and saved eight. Bockstie continues to show she’s a threat as a feeder and a dodger as she leads Clemson in total points with 13, while Regan Byrne remains the leading goal scorer with seven after two games. 

Coastal Carolina is led by Head Coach Rachel Shuk Whitten and Assistant Coaches Samantha Giacolon and Hannah Demis. The Chanticleers are coming off of a 21-5 win over Wofford after losing their opener to Vermont 9-10. Monica Manley leads Coastal Carolina in goals and assists with 10 total points, while Devin Dybacki leads the team in draw controls with 20. 

Following the conclusion of the game, the Clemson Lacrosse team will host a youth clinic at the complex for kids in grades six and under. Prior registration to the clinic and a ticket to the game is required for participation.
