Zack Owens will transfer from Clemson
On Monday, redshirt freshman offensive lineman Zechariah "Zack" Owens became the second Clemson football player to enter the transfer portal this spring.
Owens (6'6, 375) appeared in only two games and 13 offensive snaps in 2023 to preserve a redshirt year.
As a 2023 recruit, he committed to the Tigers on July 5, 2022, and then decommitted on Oct. 13, 2022. After an unofficial visit to FSU on Oct. 15, 2022, he was rumored to become a Seminole but pledged once again to Clemson on Oct. 18, 2022.
