Clemson basketball commit Myles Foster had strong finish to 2023-24 season
Former Illinois State forward Myles Foster (6'7, 235) has committed to Clemson basketball, according to his Instagram account.
The power forward from Brooklyn, New York was named the Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year in his first and only season with the Redbirds after transferring from Monmouth University, where he spent three seasons.

Foster averaged 12.4 points and 8.1 rebounds in 32 games (31 starts) in 2023-24. He had his best game against the Kentucky Wildcats in Rupp Arena with a season-high of 20 points and 15 rebounds on Dec 29, 2023.
He also scored 20 points on Feb. 18 versus Evansville and grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds against Bradley on Feb. 24 during a hot streak with averages of 16.3 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest over the final nine games of the year.
Foster led Monmouth in scoring (12.5) and rebounding (6.6) in 2022 and was a member of the MAAC All-Conference and All-Academic teams.
With Foster, who has a year of eligibility and a Covid season available, committed, the Tigers have four transfers (Foster, Christian Reeves- Duke, Viktor Lakhin- Cincinnati, and Jaeden Zackery- Boston College) and three freshman (Dallas Thomas- Parkview Magnet, Del Jones- Arizona Compass Prep, and Ace Buckner- La Lumiere School) in the 2024 incoming class.
