"I'm Back": Chase Hunter Makes NBA Decision
Clemson point guard Chase Hunter has decided to return to Tiger Town for a sixth and final year. Hunter previously entered his name into the NBA Draft before the April 27 NBA Early Entry Eligibility Deadline. Hunter had until midnight tonight to officially withdraw his name from the draft. He chose to make his announcement on Twitter.
The former Westlake High (GA) standout averaged 12.9 points and a team-leading 3.2 assists last season for the Tigers. The 6'4 athletic combo guard elevated his game on the 2024 NCAA Tournament stage by averaging 17.8 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in four games.
Hunter was outstanding on both ends of the floor and earned a spot on the All-West Region team. His return gives Brad Brownell a proven leader on the floor for the upcoming season.
