Clemson football is off to an electrifying start in building its 2026 recruiting board. The Tigers have dispensed several high-profile offers, making waves in the college football recruiting scene. Leading the charge is four-star wide receiver Samari Matthews‍ from William Amos Hough High School in Huntersville, NC. Known for his speed and agility, “Smoke” Matthews is poised to be a significant asset to the Tigers' future as a top corner.

The momentum continued on Saturday as more offers were announced on social media, reflecting Clemson's aggressive approach to securing top talent. Among the notable names is four-star safety Zelus Hicks‍ (6’2, 180) from Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. Hicks' dynamic defensive skills have already caught the attention of many top programs.

Another exciting offer went to four-star Xavier Griffin‍, a 6'3, 205-pound linebacker from Gainesville High School, the alma mater of former Clemson star Deshaun Watson. Griffin's versatility and athleticism make him a standout prospect in this recruiting cycle.

In a move that combines both legacy and potential, the Tigers extended an offer to LB Thomas Davis Jr.‍ (Weddington High, Matthews, NC), son of former NFL star linebacker Thomas Davis. Davis is a 6’2, 210-pound prospect. This offer highlights Clemson’s appeal to athletes with strong football pedigrees.

Additional offers were extended to several other promising players, including four-star DL Deuce Geralds‍, four-star LB Tyler Atkinson‍, four-star DL Bryce Perry-Wright‍, four-star DE Jordan Carter‍, and three-star S Enarri White

Stay tuned for more updates as Clemson's recruiting efforts unfold, shaping the future of their football program.
