Clemson lands 2026 four-star quarterback Tait Reynolds

July 7, 2024

The Clemson football program secured a massive commitment today as Tait Reynolds‍, a four-star quarterback, announced his intention to anchor the Tigers' 2026 recruiting class. Hailing from Queen Creek, Arizona, Reynolds brings an exceptional skill set to the quarterback position. Standing at 6'3" and weighing 195 pounds, Reynolds impressed during a recent visit to Clemson.

Reynolds detailed his journey to becoming a top Clemson target in an interview with last month, noting the Tigers' proactive approach. "I mean, they came out to me first. I called them a few times, probably after my last season and stuff. Then, during the spring, they came out to see me. So I was like, 'Oh, they're interested,' so we came out to see them, and it was super awesome. That was the first time I've been out there, and I'll definitely be back."

In his commitment post on Twitter Reynolds said: “HUGE thanks to my family, friends, teammates, and coaches who have supported me as I've chased my athletic dreams. Big thanks to all of the college coaches who were willing to give me a shot. So blessed for the opportunity to play not just one, but two sports that I love at the next level. Beyond excited to announce my commitment CLEMSON.”

On3 rates Reynolds as an 88.71 talent, and ESPN believes he is the 5th best quarterback in the 2026 class.

The young quarterback highly praised Clemson's coaching staff, particularly Coach Swinney and offensive coordinator Garrett Riley.

"They're just awesome. They're awesome dudes, super supportive with everything. Just great guys to be around. They're very, very driven. I love everything about them," Reynolds said.
