Clemson University men’s basketball will travel to Alabama in the 2025 ACC/SEC Challenge. The matchup is slated for Wednesday, Dec. 3. Game time and network designation will be announced at a later date by ESPN.

Clemson returns to Alabama where it played its inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge game in 2023. The Tigers are 9-5 all-time against Alabama, including a 4-0 mark on the road in the series. The Tigers defeated the Crimson Tide in the inaugural challenge on Nov. 28, 2023, by a score of 85-77.

The Tigers are 2-0 in the ACC/SEC Challenge, including the previously mentioned victory at Alabama and a win over No. 4 Kentucky in Littlejohn Coliseum last season. The Tigers defeated the Wildcats 70-66 on Dec. 3, 2024.

There are five 2-0 teams in the challenge so far, and the Tigers are the lone team from the ACC to have won both of their matchups.

Clemson returns senior Dillon Hunter (Atlanta, Ga./Westlake) and redshirt freshmen Ace Buckner (Dallas, Texas/La Lumiere School (Ind.)) and Dallas Thomas (Little Rock, Ark./Parkview Magnet).

The Tigers signed six transfers this offseason and added four freshmen. Clemson announced the additions of Nick Davidson (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mater Dei), Carter Welling (Draper, Utah/Corner Canyon), RJ Godfrey (Suwanee, Ga./North Gwinnett), Jake Wahlin (Provo, Utah/Timpview), Efrem “Butta” Johnson (Huntsville, Ala./Grissom) and Jestin Porter (Houston, Texas/Cypress Ridge) to the basketball program last month.

Head Coach Brad Brownell and his staff added freshmen Zac Foster (Atlanta, Ga./Woodward Academy), Chase Thompson (Glenwood, Minn./Alexandria Area), Trent Steinour (Huntersville, N.C./Lake Norman) and Blake Davidson (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mater Dei).
