The Football Writers Association of America has announced the preseason watch list for the 2025 Outland Trophy, recognizing 50 returning standout interior linemen from across nine FBS conferences and Independents.
The award's 80th winner will be selected from players representing at least 35 different programs. The recipient will be announced during The Home Depot College Football Awards on Friday, Dec. 12, live on ESPN, with the official presentation to follow on Jan. 21, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska.
This year's list includes 16 guards, 15 offensive tackles, 10 defensive tackles, and 9 centers. It marks the first time since 2012 that guards lead the watch list.
