Clemson has built a reputation for its selectivity in the recruiting process, particularly when it comes to offensive linemen. For Carter Jones‍, a standout 2027 offensive tackle out of Poquoson, Virginia, that approach is a primary reason the Tigers remain near the top of his list.

“My relationship with Coach (Matt) Luke started back in 2024 when I attended Clemson’s camp on June 5th,” Jones shared.
