Gyan Named ACC Offensive Player of the Week

Clemson, S.C. – Clemson sophomore Ransford Gyan has been named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced today by the league office. The award is Gyan’s first of his Clemson career and the first Offensive Player of the Week award for the Tigers this season. 

In two games last week, Gyan recorded three goals, including his first brace as a Tiger in Clemson’s dominant win over UAB on Friday. This season, the Sunyani, Ghana, native has scored in all three matches and is first on the team with four goals so far this season. 

Clemson hosts Pitt on Friday night with a kickoff set for 6 p.m., and live stats will be available.
