Head coach Brad Brownell rebuilt Clemson’s roster after losing five players to graduation and five scholarship players to the transfer portal, adding Jestin Porter (Middle Tennessee), Jake Wahlin (Utah), Nick Davidson (Nevada), Carter Welling (Utah Valley), Butta Johnson (UAB), and boomerang transfer RJ Godfrey (Georgia). Combined with senior Dillon Hunter, redshirt freshmen Ace Buckner and Dallas Thomas, and freshmen Chase Thompson and Zac Foster (injured), the retooled roster has Clemson ranked No. 24 in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll.
