Ransford Gyan Earns Third Career ACC Offensive Player of the Week Honor

Clemson is back at Historic Riggs Field on Friday night to face off with Notre Dame for the first ACC matchup at home for the Tigers.

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson junior Ransford Gyan has been named the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced today by the league office. The award is Gyan’s third ACC Offensive Player of the Week honor of his Clemson career and the second Offensive Player of the Week award for the Tigers this season. 

Tuesday night Gyan netted his first hat trick of his career in a commanding 4-1 win over UCF in Orlando. Gyan scored the first two goals of the match to strengthen the Tigers 3-0 lead heading into halftime. Gyan sealed the hat trick at the 77' mark to become the first Tiger to net a hat trick since Alex Meinhard in 2024. This season, the Sunyani, Ghana, native has totaled five goals on 12 shots through five matches so far this season.

Clemson is back at Historic Riggs Field on Friday night to face off with Notre Dame for the first ACC matchup at home for the Tigers. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and live stats will be available at ClemsonTigers.com.
