Sunday Storyline: "Clemson Grit" is more than a cute catchphrase

Hours ago, Clemson and Brad Brownell found out their destination in the 2018 NCAA tournament. The Tigers will be the No. 5 seed and will take on the champions of the WAC in No. 12 seed New Mexico State.

While making the tournament is not an overly impressive feat for many programs, for Clemson, given its lack of basketball history, this accomplishment was a big step forward.

Last season, the Tigers were arguably more talented, but couldn't finish games.
