Paul Finebaum Blasts Clemson Fans on SEC Nation

This morning on SEC Nation Paul Finebaum "went in" on Clemson fans. Finebaum stated, “I’m so sick of Clemson fans acting like the world revolves around them. They’ve beaten Alabama one time. Alabama has more national championships in their lost and found than Clemson has in (sic) their trophy case.”

We are not sure what got Paul so fired up, but clearly, he's had enough of Clemson Tiger nation. You might recall this summer Finebaum said this about Clemson. 

“How can you put Dabo in the same sentence as Nick Saban? Who died and made Dabo Swinney the greatest coach of all-time? He’s got one national championship, OK? I don’t understand this. Since when did Clemson become the 'it' school in the universe? I’ve never heard a more intoxicated fan base in my life. Quit talking like you own college football. ”

The Tigers and the Crimson Tide are still a long way from a "three-match," but rest assured, Clemson fans would love to see Clemson top Alabama again, partly because of comments like this from Paul Finebaum.

Is he Finebaum scared that the SEC and it's only real contender may be on its way out as other teams and conferences are rising up? And, with its demise, will go his $ for being a talk show/ TV personality with multiple syndications? I think that he is really scared of Clemson's Rise.... And quite Possibly that Swanny may become the next Finebaum , except one that isn't always Clemson or ACC shaded... One that actually calls things down the middle

The Swanny would never be a guy that just says ridiculously stupid stuff just to get noticed like Paul F., Cowheard or Stephen A. I guess some ppl like that crap. I will stick with CST. Sorry Paul... Clemson did not disappear with the departure of DW4! Clemson is an Elite program and Bama will have to share the lime light with the Tigers!

I agree that Swanny would never say the stupid stuff that Paul Finebaum does, but I do think that Finebaum is worried about the CST Takeover... And Swanny definitely has a better face for TV than Finebaum too.....

He has to say that, sec has one good team, the rest are over rated or just plain awful. When you back a weasel into a corner they will do what ever it takes to get out.

I'd say he's scared of Tigers Rise!! (and that other stuff)

I love how the SEC build up Vandy, then they get destroyed by Bama and, "How can Bama be that good?" - Second verse same as the first.

BTW- Thanks to all of you for the kind words. I've called it like I see it since day one. That's one thing I'll always do. I still am at a loss at how South Carolina is winning games this year, but I will admit that openly.
