Clemson's Dabo Swinney congratulates Syracuse in their locker room

Clemson fell Friday night to Syracuse 27-24, but Clemson's head coach Dabo Swinney still spoke to the winning team after the game.

According to ESPN's David Hale, Coach Swinney ventured over to the Syracuse locker room after the game to congratulate the Orange on their upset of second-ranked Clemson Tigers.

According to David Hale, "Zaire Franklin said Dabo Swinney sought out Steve Ishmael in the locker room to compliment his game, addressed all the players to congratulate them on the win, and even took pictures with a couple players. "That's one of the classiest things I've seen in my life," Franklin said. "To have been knocked down like that and have the humility to come talk to us, that was cool as hell."

After seeing that, Syracuse's defensive lineman Kayton Samuels posted this on his Twitter account.

Swinney also congratulated Dino Baber's following the game and in his post-game press conference said, "We're disappointed. There's a lot of pain in our locker room but listen this is a story about Syracuse."

I'm not sure how to feel about this. On one hand I like it, on the other I hate it. I'm so confused.

All that being said, I think Clemson drops to about #6 or #7 and stays in the mix.

I've heard from both sides of this. I personally like the gesture. There was a post on Twitter that said Bear Bryant did that vs Miss. St.

Let me find it...

Say what you want about the game last night but this was a class act and I'm sure personally not an easy thing to do for Dabo. Just when I want to be mad cause we lost the game coach shows me that there are things more important in life than winning.

This ain't my first rodeo.

That's a great point Craig. Then reading about how Alabama greeted him today. I hate losing, but when it happens I want to be the bigger person/team.
