The College Football Playoff top four continues to showcase No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Clemson, No. 3 Notre Dame, and No. 4 Michigan at the top of the rankings.

Right now, Clemson would be an 11.5 point favorite over Notre Dame and Alabama would be a 13.0 point favorite over Michigan.

UCF moved into the top 10 at No. 9, passing Ohio State. The Knights are now the highest-ranked Group of Five team in the history of the College Football Playoff.

There is a lot of talk about potential chaos scenarios out there, but perhaps none more than the one we posted on Twitter.

Clemson, now 11-0, enters this weekend’s rivalry game against South Carolina as a heavy favorite over their in-state rival. The Tigers will also face Pitt in the ACC Championship Game before the final rankings are released.

Clemson has been in the top four for 21 releases of the playoff rankings, second only to Alabama's 24 releases. Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State are the only three teams to appear in all 28 sets of rankings released by the committee in the playoff era.

There will be one more release before Selection Day on Sunday, Dec. 2 -- the day after conference championship weekend.
