As Clemson heads towards its Cotton Bowl matchup against Notre Dame, we wanted to take a look at what’s made the 12-0 Fighting Irish one of the top teams in America in 2018.

As the regular season concluded, two conversations existed around why Notre Dame could potentially be left out of the playoff even though they were undefeated. One argument against Brian Kelly’s squad was that they don’t play in a conference championship, the other was that they only played twelve games.
