Trevor Lawrence, Xavier Thomas named USA Today Sports Freshman All-Americans
Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence and defensive end Xavier Thomas were named to the USA Today Sports Freshman All-America team for 2018.
According to USA Today:
“Lawrence was an easy pick at quarterback after stepping into the starting lineup in late September and leading the Tigers to another Atlantic Coast Conference championship and the No. 2 seed in the College Football Playoff.”
Clemson, Alabama, Texas, Syracuse and Penn State each had two selections to the team.
