Marcquise Reed will be relocating to Las Vegas over the course of the next few weeks.

The former Clemson guard has been invited to participate in the NBA’s Summer League with the Houston Rockets. Reed is the second Tiger to make a Summer League roster, along with former teammate Elijah Thomas.

Reed scored over 2,000 points in his career. The 1,484 points scored as a Tigers are the 12th most in program history. During his final season at Clemson, Reed averaged19.4 points, 2.1 steals, and 5.5 rebounds per game, all career-highs. Reed also had 13 20-point games in his final season.

He was picked preseason to the All-ACC second team. Both Reed and Thomas finished the season with third-team All-ACC honors.

The Rockets begin their Summer League schedule on July 6th in Las Vegas against the Dallas Mavericks. On the 7th, the Rockets will play the Portland Trailblazers, then the Sacramento Kings on the 9th, and finally the Utah Jazz on the 11th.
