Former Clemson Tiger Coach Tommy Bowden joined the show to talk about Clemson and Florida State, plus we learned a lot of new information about the relationship between the Bowden family and Jimbo Fisher.

You can listen to the full interview above.

On Clemson and Florida State:

"I can't believe Clemson is a 17-point favorite. I've been a 17-point underdog once or twice, I can't imagine being a favorite by that much over Florida State. That's the way both seasons have played out this year."

Is one player (Deondre Francois) that valuable:

"No, and I don't think Jimbo does either. That would really be a slap in the face to your other players. They have a bunch of good players. I'm sure the other players are like, 'What are we chopped liver?'" They've got a lot more problems than quarterback."

On Fisher reacting to fans:

"His dad was an old coalminer up there in West Virginia, mine was a football coach. I was a little more prepared for it. He's not a good guy to challenge coming off of the field with his feathers are flustered just a little bit. In that position, you have to be a little more calm and walk past it. At Clemson, in that little cut out where we went to the dressing room at Clemson, I used to take a pretty good beating going out down there. I'd just kept my eyes straight ahead and kept going."

His relationship with Jimbo:

"He went to Clemson; then he went back to West Virginia and my brother Terry took the job at Salem College as the head coach and got him (Fisher) to play quarterback. Terry took him (Fisher) to Samford as his quarterback. Then he was his quarterback's coach, then took him to Auburn as a very young quarterback coach. Jimbo's been with our family ever since he was a sophomore in college."
