Clemson adds commitment from No. 1 center in 2021
Damascus (MD) center Ryan Linthicum joined Clemson’s 2021 class fresh off of a visit to Tiger Town. We spoke with the 4-star prospect yesterday afternoon and have an interview set for this evening after he gets out of practice. It sounds like it’s going to be an interesting evening on ClemsonSportsTalk.com.
Clemson is in the midst of putting together an impressive 2020 class, but the 2021 group is also off to a great start. Adding Linthicum gives Clemson a top-level offensive lineman and more importantly, a versatile prospect at center.
Linthicum, regarded as the No. 1 center in America, is the high school teammate of current Clemson commit Bryan Bresee. Linthicum picked Clemson over Michigan, Ohio State, Virginia Tech and many others.
Having Linthicum in the mix is just the next step towards future success for Clemson on the offensive front. He’s a tremendous talent and will certainly be a welcomed addition to the Tigers’ class.
