Bayless, "Oklahoma is clearly better than Clemson. Period. End of story."

Fox Sports 1's Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe, and Joel Klatt do not think Clemson should be ranked No. 2 in the latest release of the College Football Playoff rankings.

Bayless stated flatly, "Oklahoma is clearly better than Clemson, period, end of story."

Sharpe chipped in, " Oklahoma at worst should be number two. How Clemson got to be No. 2, I still don't know." 

Klatt, who prior to last weekend, when asked about Auburn facing Georgia stated, "I think Georgia wins because I don’t think Auburn is any good,” still isn't sold on Clemson, even though Auburn ripped Georgia 40-17 and Clemson has a win over Auburn on their resumé.

Klatt stated, "Clemson at No. 2 ahead of Miami and Oklahoma is laughable, absolutely laughable." 

Good news Joel, Clemson, and Miami will play in the ACC Championship, and the world finds out who's the better team. 

Will it be Clemson? Will it be Miami? 

We have to wait. 

That's the beauty of the process. 

The threesome also thinks that what we've seen from the committee thus far might change how people feel about the process. 

"It's bordering on completely untrustworthy," Klatt said, "That's a little scary for someone who loves the sport."

Klatt feels that there will be a lack trust in final pairing if things don't get fixed. "This committee right now is laughable with the inconsistencies it's giving us on a week to week basis. The only way you earn trust is through consistency of behavior, and we've seen zero consistency of behavior from this committee."

Things may ultimately work out to suit Bayliss, Sharpe and Klatt's expectations, but for now, we have to trust the process.

As Klatt noted, "Every year previous to this, it's worked out. In order to have faith in this playoff, you've got to trust the committee. What have they done to earn your trust?" 

This year, nothing yet Joel, the teams aren't finalized. However, the first three renditions of the playoffs have been great, and the past two national championship games have been two of the best on record.

Sit back, relax, and let it all play out. The cream will rise to the top.
