The Storylines

Clemson entering the week as the only team in the country with seven wins against Power Five opponents this season. Alabama, Oregon and Penn State rank tied for second with six each. Even despite the inclusion of a one-point conference road victory in September, Clemson has won those seven contests by an average of 29.4 points.

With 48 career rushing touchdowns, Travis Etienne now trails only Pitt's James Conner (52), Louisville's Lamar Jackson (50) and NC State's Ted Brown (49) for the most career rushing touchdowns in ACC history.

Clemson is also attempting to score at least 35 points against NC State for a third consecutive time for the first time in series history. Even though Clemson has produced 35 or more points against NC State 14 times since 1982, Clemson has never done so in three consecutive games in the series.

Huge few minutes here for both teams. LSU with a FG will but tons of pressure on Tide...anything else and Bama has more life than they've had all day.

Good performance from the Tigers in the first half. The second half left something to be desired, but 55-10 is a W and that's what you need to get the the playoff.
