While recruiting for the 2021recruting season is well underway, Clemson is getting a start on the 2022 recruiting cycle with scholarship offers being extended to two high school junior defensive backs. These are the first two official offers of the 2022 cycle.

Four-star safety Kamari Wilson‍ out of Fort Pierce Westwood High School in Fort Pierce, Fla. announced that he received an offer from Clemson on Thursday morning.

247 Sports has Wilson rated as the No. 1 safety in the 2022 class and the 34th ranked player overall. Wilson has already received offers from several other Power 5 schools, including South Carolina and LSU among the 30 total schools that have offered the safety.

Wilson’s teammate at Fort Pierce Westwood, James Monds‍, also announced on Thursday that he received an offer from Clemson via Twitter.

Monds III is rated by 247 as a three-star prospect with offers from Miami, Michigan State and Tennessee.

Both players are sure to pick up more offers as they continue through the rest of their high school careers.
