Former Clemson defensive back arrested for striking man last with missing father
Former Clemson defensive back Mackensie Alexander was arrested for striking the man who was last with missing father.
Alexander, currently with the Cincinnati Bengals traveled with a friend, Evins Clement, to the Florida home of the man who reportedly was the last person with Alexander's father before he went missing. Alexander’s 65-year-old father, Jean Odney Alexandre (correctly spelled), has been missing for several days.
According to reports, the duo tried "to convince" the man to leave with them. Alexander then punched the man several times according to the Collier County Sherriff's Office. Alexander was booked on battery charges.

Update: A Florida judge has granted Mackensie Alexander’s release from jail on $2,000 bond or pretrial release, according to one of his attorneys, Brian Pakett. Alexander should be out soon and intends to rejoin authorities' search for his father, who disappeared Monday.
