Clemson updated their depth chart earlier today. Take a look over the updates and let us know what you think.
Here are a few quick notes from our viewing:
- Freshman Bryan Bresee is on the 1st team “or” line at defensive tackle.
- Senior wideout Cornell Powell is scheduled to start at Winston-Salem. Powell has waited his turn and with both Frank Ladson and Joseph Ngata missing some time this fall, Powell took advantage.
- Clemson’s backup quarterback remains a mystery and Tony Elliott told us earlier today that he will be as surprised as we are to see who gets in behind Trevor Lawrence on Saturday.
- The # by James Skalski’s name is an indicator that the targeting penalty in the national title game carries over and Brent Venables said today that Clemson was prepared for that to happen.
- Even though it is expected that Derion Kendrick will get the start, give credit to LeAnthony Williams for fighting his way onto the “or” line as well. The Tigers also have an “or” battle on the other side as Andrew Booth and Mario Goodrich are both penciled in with the top billing.
