WATCH: The Citadel vs. Clemson Football Highlights (2020)

The Citadel vs. Clemson: The No. 1 Clemson Tigers had little trouble with The Citadel on Saturday afternoon.  Trevor Lawrence and the offense came out on fire as they scored touchdowns on each of the team's first seven drives. Lawrence finished the game with 168 passing yards on 8-9 passing with 3 touchdown passes and 1 rushing score. Frank Ladson Jr. caught 3 passes for 87 yards and two scores in the win. 

Clemson's key backups got some valuable time.  Backup QB D.J. Uaigalelei powered his way for two rushing touchdowns, his first two scores as a Tiger.  Clemson dominated defensively, pitching a shutout and allowing just 162 total yards and even found their way into the endzone as true freshman Myles Murphy forced a fumble scooped up by James Skalski and returned for the score.
