Former Clemson Star Trevor Booker Traded to 76ers
Former Clemson basketball star Trevor Booker has been traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to reports. ESPN's Zach Lowe first reported the deal, which will involve the 76ers sending Jahlil Okafor, Nik Stauskas and a second-round pick to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Booker. Booker confirmed the trade himself in a series of tweets.
Booker, who played for the Tigers from 2006-2010, should be a good fit immediately for the young 76ers squad. He brings a veteran presence to "The Process", along with exceptional rebounding and defensive skills. So far this season, Booker was averaging 10 points, eight rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals and .4 blocks in 24.7 minutes per game with the Nets.
Booker has previously played for the Utah Jazz and the Washington Wizards.
