After some drama throughout the process and a seemingly endless wait until signing day, five-star defensive end Xavier Thomas‍ finally signed on the dotted line to become a Tiger.

The 6'3", 263-pound prospect, originally from Wilson High School in Florence, SC, held offers from every major program in the country. He committed to the Tigers back in April and has been one of Clemson's most active peer recruiters

Thomas is a tall athlete but has a well-filled out frame. Shows tremendous explosion and speed off the edge. He shows good pood power and ability to collapse the pocket. Not only can he attack the quarterback, but he also loves to attack ball carriers.

Thomas does need to tweak some things with his technique, but the bottom line is that once he refines his craft, he will be an impact player on an already impactful defense.
