Clemson’s 2021 class just got a shot in the arm as four-star cornerback Nathaniel Wiggins‍ of Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake flipped his pledge from LSU to Clemson.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Wiggins announced his commitment to LSU on his birthday (Aug. 28) selecting the Tigers over USC, Oregon and Florida. Before the Covid-19 lockdown, he visited Tennessee, Florida, Clemson, and Alabama unofficially.

A highly touted athlete was was must get for Clemson at the position and once they saw an opening, the Tigers staff went “All-In” on Wiggins. Wiggins’ high school, Westlake, is the home of former Clemson star wideout A.J. Terrell and his younger brother 2023 stud DB Avieon Terrell‍.

With his commitment, Clemson now has 18 commitments for the class of 2021.

We will have more analysis on Wiggins coming up tomorrow morning, but it’s safe to say this is a significant pick up for Clemson.
