Clemson added a second top-flight prospect in as many days with the commitment of four-star tight end Reid Mikeska‍ (Bridgeland High, Bridgeland, Texas). We spoke with Mikeska and will have his full interview available for Clemson Sports Talk subscribers shortly.

Mikeska possesses the elite size teams are looking for at tight end standing 6’6 and checking in at 234 pounds. Mikeska considered the top tight end in the Lone Star State had offers from every major program in college football, including a Top 12 of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami, Michigan State. South Carolina, UNC, Texas Tech, Baylor, Tennessee, and the Tigers.

Mikeska told us that he feels like he’s a great fit given everything that he can do at the position.

"They're super excited, I think they definitely want to put more emphasis on tight ends here and moving forward. They see me playing inline, H-back, and split out-- I do all those effectively,” Mikeska said. “So it does fit their offense really well because they're really a balanced offense. So I'll be able to run block and run routes and catch and run and all that. So I'm a great fit for them."

We will have our full interview with Mikeska posted later this evening.
