Sunshine State tight end Olsen Patt Henry is 'All In' to Clemson

Olsen Patt Henry‍ (First Baptist Academy, Naples, FL) committed to Clemson on Tuesday.  

Henry, a four-star tight end in the 2023 class (247Sports), announced his commitment on Twitter first with, "I'm All In. Go Tigers!"

He also added the statement below:

"First and foremost, I’d like to thank Jesus Christ for blessing me with the opportunity to play football. Next, I would like to thank my mom for all her love and support. Without her, I wouldn’t be the man I am today. I also want to thank the Martucci family for taking me in and becoming my second family.

"I'm so thankful to all of my coaches for pushing me and believing in me on and off the field. Next, I’m thankful to Coach Jackson for training me and sharing his heart with me. Thank you to my teammates and my dawgs I grew up with. To my brothers Jean, Rich, Patrick and David, thank you for loving on your lil’ bro the way you do and for pushing me to be the best football player on and off the field."

Henry (6'4, 210) caught 61 passes for 1,053 yards with 17 touchdowns as a standout wide receiver for First Baptist. He will transition to tight end in college and is ranked 16th at the position by 247Sports.

The Southwest Florida Male Athlete of the Year also competes in track and field and averaged 14.3 points and 9.9 rebounds as a forward on the basketball team. 

Henry chose the Tigers over Alabama, Duke, Florida State, Minnesota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and others.
