McCloud: "My decision to come to Clemson was one of the best decision of my life. The amount of success we've had had as a team has been unbelievable and something that I always cherish and never forget. After praying day and night and discussing my future with my family & Coach Swinney, I've decided to declare for the 2018 NFL draft.
"I'd like to thank my teammates for all the support and hard work they've put in to help this program be a championship contender year-in and year-out. My coaches for pushing me each and everyday to be a better man first and foremost, and to develop into the player I am today. Last but not least - the Clemson Fans! You all have truly been a blessing in my life and to whom I feel I owe a great deal of gratitude for all the Love and support you've shown me from day one. I am truly thankful for all the memories we share and I will always bleed orange & purple. I salute you all and GO TIGERS!"
