Van Smith Declares for NFL Draft

Clemson safety Van Smith has decided to skip his senior season and enter the NFL draft.
Smith posted this to his personal twitter account recently:
A school official confirmed that Smith is turning pro.
The junior from Charlotte, North Carolina played a big role as a starter and special teams contributor for the 2016 National Championship team. He was voted All-ACC second team in 2016 with 114 tackles, third-most on the team, in 929 snaps over 15 games.
This season, he had 62 tackles and a key interception in Clemson's home victory over Florida State, which clinched the Atlantic division for the Tigers.
