DJ Uiagalelei on facing Miami: 'It’ll be a good challenge for us'

On Saturday’s performance:

”I thought, overall, it was a solid game. I think the biggest thing is clean up the turnovers-- take care of the football. Overall, I thought we executed well-- moved the ball good during the drives we had. I think that’s the biggest thing, shooting ourselves in the foot.”

On Miami’s defense:

”Biggest thing with Miami is Miami is a historic program, great athletes, great coaching. They got a lot of great athletes on the defense, very athletic all the guys can run. They’re pretty physical as well. They all come downhill. Their safeties do a good job of tackling in open space. It’ll be good for us. He mixes it up on defense. We’ll see what they do for us. They’re good though, it’ll be a good challenge for us.”

On up-tempo offense:

“I love the up-tempo offense. It’s less thinking, you’re going out there reacting, and the faster you play, the less you have to think. We definitely worked on it this week. That was one big emphasis for the offense to play with more tempo. We did a good job this weekend of playing faster.”

On Antonio Williams:

“It was great. He played an unbelievable game. Did a lot of unbelievable things out there, ran a bunch of good routes, and blocked really well. He made great catches. He’s been doing that all year, so it’s good to see that continue and keep getting better.”

On if he liked catching a pass:

”I definitely liked it, 100%. Growing up, I always wanted to play something other than quarterback-- and that was receiver. I was never fast enough. I was always too big. I knew that was never going to be a reality, but it was super cool. We practiced that for a long time, so I was happy we got to run it.”
