Clemson legacy becomes second commit in 2024 class

Clemson added a commitment Monday afternoon from Nolan Hauser‍ - a Clemson legacy with an impressive resume as a high school kicker and punter. The North Carolina native is Clemson’s fourth commitment in the past eight days.

Hauser chose the Tigers over offers from Maryland, NC State, and UNC. Maryland was the first school to offer him in January.

Hauser is a Clemson legacy. His father, Scott, played baseball at Clemson, and his mother, Sheri, was a women’s soccer all-American at Clemson. Hauser visited Clemson for the game against NC State in October and picked up an offer on his gameday visit for the game against Miami on November 19.

The MaxPreps All-American has an impressive leg and has even posted a video of him connecting on a 68-yard field goal while warming up at halftime of a game earlier this month. He also sent a kickoff through the uprights during a game this season:

Last weekend, he broke the all-time NCHSAA career field goal record with 52 and then connected on two more later in the game.

Hauser is the team’s second addition to the 2024 class, joining four-star defensive back Tavoy Feagin‍, who committed on November 20.
