Four-star tight end Ryan Ghea talks Clemson, summer visit plans
Milton 2025 four-star tight end Ryan Ghea describes his relationship with Clemson, Kyle Richardson, and his newly-scheduled summer visit to Death Valley.
Clemson 2025 Tight End Outlook (from Tuesday recruiting notebook):
The 2025 tight end class in Georgia is spectacular. Four of the top 12 tight ends in the class are from the state. Elyiss Williams is already committed to Georgia, and Ethan Barbour is a Georgia lean. The top two targets at the position in Georgia (where Clemson tight ends coach Kyle Richardson used to coach high school football) are probably off the board for the Tigers. However, Emaree Winston and Ryan Ghea (both top 225 prospects) are potential Clemson targets and candidates to earn summer offers from the Tigers.
Winston, now at Calhoun High School (the home of former Clemson tight end Davis Allen), has locked in a June visit to Clemson. He's developed a ton physically over the past year and is a lengthy, high-upside prospect. He already has a pair of crystal balls to Ohio State and has been considered a Buckeye lean for nearly a year now, but if Clemson jumps into this recruitment this summer - they should have a chance to land him. Winston has spoken with Allen and likes Richardson (most prospects do, he's a fantastic recruiter).
Clemson is looking into 2025 Milton tight end Ryan Ghea and defensive back Dylan Lewis, and Dabo Swinney personally visited the school in March. I expect Ghea to earn one of Clemson's first offers in the 2025 class. He's visited multiple times and recently earned a four-star rating. He is highly interested in Clemson and would be an excellent cultural fit for the program.
