Heard in the Press Box:

“That punter is grinding.” - speaking of Boston College's Mike Knoll who punted 9 times during the game.

Rumbled: An unlikely player would spark a rather sleepy Clemson crowd, when offensive guard Taylor Hearn scooped up a Kelly Bryant fumble and rumbled for 12-yards and a Tiger first down. The play was significant as it would be the catalyst to Clemson's only scoring drive of the first half.

Stumbled: On Clemson's opening drive of the second half, Clemson's Travis Etienne would pick up a big 4th and 1 conversion at the Boston College 42. The next play, Kelly Bryant would throw his second interception of the game, stalling a potential scoring drive with the Tigers leading just 7-0.

Turning point: With the score 7-7 in the 4th quarter, facing a 3rd and 9 Kelly Bryant hit Diondre Overton for a 23-yard reception giving Clemson the football at the Boston College 6-yard line. Adam Choice would finish the drive with a 6-yard touchdown run on the following play.

Unsung hero: Taylor Hearn - Death Valley was dead. He revived the crowd and Clemson put seven on the board.

Key stat: True freshman Travis Etienne is a monster. He has had a 50+ yard carry in every game that he's gotten a touch. Etienne has 292 yards on just 23 carries this season. No matter how the game looked and felt, Clemson managed to rush for 342 yards on the day.
