Clemson Plays Host to #8 Duke on Friday
CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s soccer program is set to host No. 8 Duke on Friday evening at Historic Riggs Field in the home ACC opener for the Tigers. Kickoff is now set for 7:30 p.m. on ACCNX (pushed back from a 7:00 p.m. start), following the top-10 women's soccer matchup, Clemson vs Florida State, set for 4:00 p.m.
Clemson went 1-1 in its last two games, including a 3-2 loss at No. 20 Notre Dame in the ACC opener and a 3-2 win at USF on Tuesday evening. The Tigers trailed the Bulls 1-0 at halftime on Tuesday, before erupting for three goals in the second half to earn their first road win of the season.
Duke is coming off a 2-0 win over Virginia in its ACC opener, after defeating Princeton 2-0 to open the month of September.
Clemson owns a 30-27-4 record all-time against the Blue Devils.
