T‍hree-star offensive lineman Easton Ware‍ committed to Clemson Wednesday night. Ware is a 6’6, 290-pound offensive lineman from Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, Virginia. The junior chose the Tigers over offers from top programs that made his top ten list, including Notre Dame, Auburn, Oklahoma and Michigan.

Ware is the No. 341-ranked player in the junior class, the No. 21 IOL, and the No. 10 prospect from Virginia.

His recruitment heated up during the season this fall. Ware earned a Notre Dame offer on September 20 and one from Clemson just three days later when he visited Death Valley for the game against Florida State. It took the three-star less than six weeks after adding the Clemson offer to make the pledge and become one of the first members of the program’s 2025 class.

Ware joins his high school teammate, four-star running back Gideon Davidson‍ and four-star quarterback Blake Hebert‍ in the Tigers 2025 class. New Clemson OC Garrett Riley and the Tigers staff are off to a good start in the class with a trio of early commits.

It’s still very early, but the Tigers 2025 class moves to No. 9 in the On3 rankings.

Tale of the tape:

Ware was an all-state first-team, all-region, and all-district selection last fall. It’s not hard to see why. He’s a high-motor recruit who plays both ways for his high school team. Ware finishes blocks well and is versatile on the line.

Check out his 2022 season highlights. The reel starts with a bang - he scored a receiving touchdown as a sophomore.

Here is some of the tape from his game before he picked up the Clemson offer in late September.
