On the pick six: “Just knowing the down and playing the sticks. Without that great D line, you don’t get that ball out quick. So, just knowing the situation, I jumped and took it back to the crib. Celebrated with my team.”
On the defense: “Just the focus. We are trying to get better everyday. We aren’t worried about last week or the other day before that. So, just making sure we focus on the day and we win a day. Fix the corrections we need and just move on as we need to.”
On the freshman defensive backs: “Today, just the preparation the older guys pour into us. Making sure we prepare even if we don’t play. We know we are prepared when we get in. So, just taking a role of knowing, we get in we got to make plays. As for the older guys, we owe it to them.”
On defensive play calling: “Throughout the game, you got to make adjustments and that’s what we did. Adjustments played out well. So, Coach Wes just drawing it up and making sure we get in there.”
On UNC: “Fixing the corrections from this game. We going to do that. Come up with a game plan on Monday, and execute.”
