On beating South Carolina:

"It's real special. That's a team you never want to lose to around here. Putting together that streak of dominance against them, it's been great."

"Great environment in Columbia, we were able to go in there and suck the life out of the stadium early. It was good to get control of the game. Fring on all cylinders throughout the game."

On getting some rest before the stretch run:

"It's ultra-important, we plan on playing a few more games so any time you can stay healthy and continue to get healthy this late in the season is awesome. It's going to pay dividends for is in the next two, three games."

On Miami's turnover chain:

"It doesn't really matter to us. It's cool that they have it. It helps them play well, I guess. I don't think we need anything like that around here to create turnovers or make turnovers a priority. We make turnovers a priority every week. T.A.N.O.G.A. Tuesday. Takeaways, No giveaways that's something that we harp on around here, we just don't have the flash of the chain on Saturdays."

"We know that turnovers can change a game, they've made that a huge priority for them with the chain. We've always had that as a priority, we created turnovers last week against South Carolina. It can just change the momentum of the game- just like that."

On how Miami's changed since Clemson's 58-0 win:

"They are a better overall team. Coach Richt has done a good job with the offense. They don't make a lot of mistakes along the offensive line. It's going to be a good challenge. Rozier's playing great. He's looking better and better each week, so we have a tough challenge ahead of us Saturday in Charlotte."

On that 58-0 game in 2015:

"We remember it, so I'm sure they remember it as well. I'm sure that will be something that motivates them as they prepare for us. They will be ready to play us no matter what happened two years ago."

Defense's expectations:

"I think we've played well, but I don't think we scratched the surface of how dominant we can be. We still haven't played our best game, as crazy as that may sound. If we can all come out and play our best game of the year then it will be really tough for them to stop it."

Looking back at the Auburn game in week two:

"Great week of preparation. We had the whole offseason to prepare for them and Kent State. We were really dialed in, Coach V had a great plan."
