Clemson Hosts South Florida Monday Night
CLEMSON, S.C. -- The No. 4 Clemson men's soccer team hosts South Florida on Friday night at Historic Riggs Field. The inter-conference match is slated for 7 p.m., and the broadcast is set to stream on ACC Network.
Clemson will be looking to continue its run of form, as the Tigers have started the season 3-0, outscoring their opponents 12-1 across the three matches. Most recently, Clemson defeated in-state rival South Carolina for the eighth straight time. 5-0 on Friday night.
Monday marks the 15th all-time meeting on the pitch between the Tigers and Bulls. Clemson holds a 11-1-2 advantage in the matchup, and the Tigers have won five straight, the last USF victory coming in 1980.
Starting in net for Clemson will be 3rd team All-ACC goalkeeper George Marks, who would move into a tie for fourth place on Clemson's all-time wins leaderboard with a victory. Marks was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week for the first week of the season for his performances across the first two matches, and he has not allowed a goal in 247 consecutive minutes. Forwards Mohamed Seye and Isaiah Reid lead the Tigers in goals with three apiece.
