Hunter Rayburn stepping away from football at Clemson
Clemson offensive lineman Hunter Rayburn is done with football in Tiger Town due to a lingering neck condition. The news was first reported by Larry Williams. Clemson SID Ross Taylor has confirmed the situation and it appears that Rayburn will transition to a role as a student assistant.
Rayburn would have been a redshirt junior this season and should have competed to be the starting center, but is now going to be stepping away from football.
